Originally an organic chemist, Chris Yang was on the fast track to medical school when he took a detour to pursue a passion in food. Immediately, he dove into the food industry as an entrepreneur building multiple businesses (restaurant delivery brand and culinary incubator) and worked as an early employee for Travis Kalanick’s CloudKitchens.
Now, Chris is at the forefront of the cannabis food space, running PopCultivate, a successful cannabis gastropub in Denver, renowned for its innovative cuisine and scientific dosing. The brand has garnered significant attention, with features on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and international events, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the industry.
