Jim Morrissey
Whether he's drawing a donkey, an elephant or just a perplexed politician with a bad hair day, Jim Morrissey is proud to be an equal opportunity offender.
As an award-winning political cartoonist for The Colorado Sun since 2018, Jim's cartooning journey began in the late '90s at the Aurora Sentinel, where he discovered the magical combination of ink, paper and just the right amount of snark. His cartoons have graced the pages of magazines and newspapers, proving that a picture is worth a thousand cleverly placed punchlines.
When Jim's not turning politicians into caricatures, he's diving headfirst into the chaotic world of advertising as a creative director. (Because apparently, one job with tight deadlines isn’t enough.) Because, at the end of the day, he knows his job is to turn coffee into ideas.
